About the Sensory Collaborative

The Occupational Therapy Collaborative of Sensory Integration in the Schools is an initiative to explore the best practices of occupational therapy services and sensory integration within educational settings. Grounded in the principles of Ayres Sensory Integration®, the collaborative works to align sensory strategies and intervention with school-based frameworks such as Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and 504 Plans.   Although not an AOTA-approved course, it does apply to NBCOT license renewal and many state license renewals.  There are many free resources provided as well!

Kareen Robbins MS OTR/L

The collaborative is facilitated by Kareen Robbins, who is an AOTA Approved Provider. She is an OTR who is formally trained in sensory integration (SIPT Certification) with over 36 years of experience applying Ayres SI® in the school setting.
